Title: Undergraduate Student Employability Activator

Location: Hybrid working - ARU Peterborough on campus + Online
Hours: Hours can vary from 1 hour p/w up to 12 hours p/w
What is a Student Employability Activator?
Training and development: If you are successfully selected to be an Activator, you will receive Activator training on how to complete your role, as well as training on Employability Service key resources and initiatives.
Pay and conditions: The Activator roles will mostly require you to complete paid work tasks, however there will also be optional unpaid tasks for you to complete should you wish.
The paid elements of the role are paid at the Student Ambassador rate (£12.60 p/h). You will submit a timesheet each week depending on the time you have dedicated to the role.
Working hours: Work hours are varied, from approximately 1 hour per week up to 12 hours per week during busy periods (for example, Futures Week) on a flexible basis. Activators sign up for work tasks via a group MS Teams chat and are responsible for picking up shifts and managing their own work hours.
The role is available throughout the academic year on a rolling one-month contract basis and may be renewed year on year based on your performance.
