Title: Undergraduate Student Employability Activator
Date: 1st September 2025 - 31st July 2026
Location: Hybrid working - ARU Chelmsford on campus + Online
Hours: Hours can vary from 1 hour p/w up to 12 hours p/w
We are currently seeking new members for our team of Student Employability Activators in Chelmsford. Successful applicants will be starting their second year of undergraduate study at ARU, during the academic year 2025/26. Role starts from 1st September 2025.
What is a Student Employability Activator?
Skills and experience:
Training and development: If you are successfully selected to be an Activator, you will receive Activator training on how to complete your role, as well as training on Employability Service key resources and initiatives.
Pay and conditions: The Activator roles will mostly require you to complete paid work tasks, however there will also be optional unpaid tasks for you to complete should you wish.
The paid elements of the role are paid at the Student Ambassador rate (£12.60 p/h). You will submit a timesheet each week depending on the time you have dedicated to the role
